Welcome to de Lima’s Wine Bar & Tastings

This project started in 2018 with a tiny tasting room and a digital wine club that grew into something special.

Eight years later, we’re finally bringing the wine bar and tasting room together under one roof.

Our goal here is simple: to make you feel as welcome as if you were visiting my family’s small, one hectare vineyard. We may only have one hectare, but we have a lot of love to share—we might hug you on the way out.

We take a viticulturist approach here, so don’t expect sommelier flair. We just want to share beautiful Portuguese wines and local products through honest Portuguese hospitality.

The Wine Bar

At de Lima’s, you’ll experience genuine Portuguese hospitality, focused on the things we love most: exceptional wine, artisanal cold cuts, and that unhurried, slow-motion feeling. We keep it simple, authentic, and deeply rooted. Be mentally ready for the days when Rafa’s Mom is in town! She’s a hugger!

The tasting room is how everything started. In 2018, the owner Rafa, started a tiny tasting room that quickly became the reference in the city for great wine tastings, both for the consumer and for the wine pros. Looking for a special venue in Porto?

Rafa’s tastings began in a small room but quickly gained worldwide attention. From Porto to online tastings during lockdowns, his events have reached global audiences, including teams from Salesforce, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and more. Today, Rafa continues to host both in-person and online events across Europe and the US.
